August:  I'm becoming a big boy!

Let's start with a nice family picture.

Here's me with my Mommy and Daddy before they abandoned me...um, I mean before they went to the Big City to watch their show.  I got to stay home with Granny and stayed up late while the folks were away!

Ain't we so handsome?  Well, mainly me...

And speaking of handsome, here is me at 4 months.  I'm a happy little Gator in this picture, and I've done a whole lot of developing since my last photos.

I can sit up pretty well when I lean against something, and my neck can support my big old head no problem.

This is me showing my Mad Max face.  If you stare at the picture long enough, you'll actually get hypnotized

...send money, send money, send money, send money...

Sorry, what I meant to say was that this is me trying to stand...when I lean against something I do OK, but otherwise I fall forwards, which is happening right here.  Thanks to Mommy I didn't bust my head open.

Note my cool new Adidas shoes from Uncle Kevin.  I'm a very hip baby (who gets sweaty feet from tennies just like Daddy).

Check out my cute "shy baby" pose.  Also, see if you can count all of the dimples in my fat little legs.

Fortunately the swirly colorful outfit is slimming!

Here's me trying to stand again.  I'm on the kitchen counter in my T-shirt and jams, having a good old time.  Again, fortunately Mommy has a good hold on me so I don't go BOOM.

And here's another of my cute poses.  My hair's a bit rumpled, but otherwise I think I look pretty spiffy.

I love playing on the floor now, and I'm trying to learn how to roll over onto my back, but I think I'm having some momentum and inertia problems.  Probably due to my mass...

Proving that I'm a baby of many faces, here's me showing off my new chin zits.  It's a byproduct of my constant drooling.  To keep the zit distribution even, I make sure to smear the drool around as much of my face as possible.  Some days it's bad, and some days it's good.  I still think I'm cute, though!

And here's proof that I still have what it takes with the ladies.  This is my girlfriend Dawn (you can see her hugging me on the 4th of July page).

See how she's leaning in like that?  That's my magnetic personality.  Ha ha ha ha ha...I get my awesome sense of humor from my Daddy...

OK, so it's not Halloween yet, but here's what happened.  Back when I was a teeny baby, Daddy bought me this 6-month size outfit, and on Halloween I'll be 6-months old...makes sense, right?

Well, nobody planned on my plumping up quite as much as I have (like a Ball Park Frank), and this thing is waaaaaay tight on me right now.  So I got to wear it once for a photo opportunity and that's it!  It's a shame, isn't it?  I think I still look cuuuuute in a tight "help me I can't breathe and you're cutting off my circulation" sort of way.

This is me playing on the floor with my hangy thingamabob.  I reach up, grab the rings, pull real hard, and stick them in my mouth.  It's a simple game, but it sure is fun!

And this is my new best friend, Dog.  He doesn't have a name yet, but I picked him out at Babies-R-Us all by myself.

Mommy showed me a bunch of loser toys, and then when I saw Dog I grabbed him and stuck his ear in my mouth, and I've loved him ever since.

Here's what he looks like from the front:

And finally here's me and Daddy out in the front yard.  I'm wearing my first cruise T-Shirt (thanks Oma and Abuelo!), and my nifty new hat.  It protects me from the sun, and has a little strap that goes under one of my chins.

It's MaxMovie Time!

I'm a great laugher now!  Check out Mommy tickling me after a bath.  Guaranteed to make you laugh too!

And this is me after 2 days of learning how to eat solid food.  It's tastes a little funny, but I'm starting to get the hang of it.

I've also learned to start holding my bottle.  This is a great boon for Mommy and Daddy!  Soon they'll be able to eat when I eat!
