September 2006
Happy September, and Happy Fall!  The weather's getting slowly cooler, the leaves have started to fall, and I'm still having a great time!

My favorite things in the world right now are trucks, tractors, stuffed animals, and Home Depot!  Here I am with my Little People tractor and my skinny little legs near the garage door, looking to have some fun.

Wanna come play with me???

I had some nice visits this month, including a weekend visit with my uncles Kevin and Jeffrey who drove down from Boston.  Here's Jeffrey reading me a riveting story about trucks.  It's got dump trucks, garbage trucks, fire trucks, and lots and lots of other trucks.  Have I mentioned that I like trucks??

Here's what it looks like if you want to go out and buy yourself a copy!

And later in the month my Mommy took me down to South Carolina to visit my Granny and Grandpa.  I had a super time, and I can't wait to see them again!

Here we are at the Greenville Zoo.  We saw this very tame bear, a bunch of big wrinkly elephants, some ring-tailed lemurs, a bunch of monkeys, and some cute ducks.

Here's me and my grandpa playing around on his chair with Ducky.

My favorite stuffed friends now are Ducky (my main buddy), Shirty (who I can't sleep without), and of course Bear, who you'll see below.

While in South Carolina I learned how to go down a slide (by being thrown down by my Granny as you can see here!  Ha ha ha, just kidding, just kidding!)

My Daddy just bought me my very own slide, and it's now attached to my playset in the backyard.  I can climb up the ladder on my own, walk across to the slide, sit down, and slide down (much more smoothly than I am in the picture to the left)...

And of course here's a picture of me with a truck!  Just look at the wheels on this thing!  There were 18 I think, each as big as me!

Back on the home-front Daddy took us out on his boat a few times, and I loved it when he went fast fast fast!

Here's me loving the speed!  Yahoo!

And here's me and Daddy monkeying around in the house.  I like being held upside-down, riding my Daddy like a horsey, and being spun around until I'm too darn dizzy to stand anymore.

Oh, and since you can see my belly here, just look at how skinny I am now!  Where are my rolls of fat?  Where are my extra knees, chins, and elbows?  I mean, you can see my ribs here, can't you??  I'm wasting away!

This is what I do when the guys come over to mow our lawn.  I stand at the front door when they're out front, and then I run to the back door when they go there.

The guys are really nice, and they let me come over and check out their truck and mowers

Look how cute I am!

My Daddy works a lot, and when he works on Saturdays, Mommy and I go to visit him in the hospital.  Here we are in the little lounge where we eat lunch together.

Mommy caught me in the middle of a phone call...I'm trying to call someone to help me figure out just what Daddy is wearing...doesn't he look silly?

I'm a great eater now, and here's me at dinner.  Note that:

1)  I don't sit in a high-chair anymore!  I have my very own booster seat and spot at the table.

2)  I use real plates!  No more jars of baby food or bibs.

3)  I use silverware!  See my little fork there?

4)  I eat most everything!   Note the corn, bratwurst, cheese, and edimame on my Tonka plate.

And finally here I am with Bear.  I carry him around with me all day long (including in the car) and cuddle him close when I'm sleepy (and then I switch to Shirty for bedtime...you can see me feeding him in the little picture down below.)

October is going to be another exciting month!  My Omi and Abuelo are coming to visit, and Halloween is coming up!  What will I dress up as this year?  You'll have to wait and see!
